Riverhouse Hookers Beginner - Learn To Crochet Course - Week 1

Due to popular demand, I am starting another new crochet course for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh old skills with the added bonus of meeting new people.
Here are the details...

Duration: 5 weeks
Cost: £40
Time/date: 8.15-9:45pm every Monday from 23rd February until Monday 23rd March
Venue: The Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre, Walton-on-Thames

I have created a small project that covers the following techniques:

Starting off
Chaining
Making a ring
Slip Stitch
US Single Crochet / UK Double Crochet
US Double Crochet / UK Treble Crochet
Making a square
Crochet seam
Whip stitch seam
Making a cord
Finishing / weaving in ends

Materials required:

3.5mm & 4mm crochet hook
200g of DK cotton yarn, preferably in at least two different colours
Wool/tapestry needle

I can provide the materials above as a starter kit for £14 which can be purchased at the first class.
