Moonrise over DC is one of the most iconic shots you can take. Watching the moon moves up an over the monuments is amazing to witness and even more fun to capture.

Make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the Carillon and get set up so you don't miss it. Once the moon starts coming up, it goes pretty fast and then the show is over.

Tripods are a MUST, cable release or wireless shutter release help (helps with camera shake).
