I'm interested in the mechanics of robots. Gears, shafts, packaging, moldings and castings. It was great to be involved with the things that I did at Cybermotion as the mechanical designer. Cybermotion built and sold autonomous security robots commercially (COTS) and I wish that everyone loved their job as much as I enjoyed working for Cybermotion. Autonomous Robotics was a new industry. After 9/11 security became a new paradigm... and the company closed in 2002. I'm still interested in robotics. One day robots will rule the world... Bwa-haha!
I'm interested in the software that is used to control, navigate, and doing sensing tasks. I've let my VB and .Net skills go but I'd like to become involved in the software end of making robots do the things that must be done.

Um... Yeah. I'm over 18. I guess that this means that I don't have to bring the beer to meetings, then.
I am David Fisher, aka CyberDave; I worked for Cybermotion Inc. for ten years
