http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/9/e/6/event_231734822.jpeg This will be the EDIT from Saturday's Shoot FOR Edit, and as always, we'll have fun reviewing some of the member uploads from our outing at the Zoo the Saturday before. We've suggested several possible themes for our shots this time: One is to find a story to tell with our pictures. Another is to get shots to enter in the Zoo's annual calendar contest. And finally is to get shots for a humorous composite image involving one or more animals. Of course the new arrival in the Orangutan cage is an unexpected fourth reason!
Speaking of stories, what a perfect time for member Lou Cardinale to give us an overview of one of Lightroom's lesser-known functions: The "SLIDESHOW" module. We'll also spend time reviewing member uploads of the Saturday event, along with a couple of Lynda.com clips featuring photographer Doublas Kirkland discussing storytelling with pictures, and possibly a brief PS composite demo if we have time.
Attendance at the Zoo shoot is NOT required for this meeting, so RSVP in any case - and why not also bring a friend who might also enjoy being a member of RPEG?
