September is Back To School Month

Reading and writing and 'rithmetic?  No, not exactly.   But for many, the single greatest obstacle to being fully functional in the photo-editing programs isn't about how to use the various tools... but about knowing how to NAVIGATE within the program, including moving within layers, importing, opening, exporting, saving, saving AS, etc. etc.

Al Mosher will present on PS Elements, and I'll have something from LR5 and CS6, but let's see this as an open forum for an exchange of questions and tips to and from the whole audience.  For many this could be a great chance to broaden our abilities to move and work in Photoshop and Lightroom in their various versions.   Expect lots of note-able tips, so if you don't bring paper and pen with you to this one, you may regret it!

Watch too for some videos from outside the box as usual, and Carl will give us an overview of some pointers on shooting fireworks going into the Pittsford shoot the following Saturday (see the separate announcement on our home page).

Be sure to RSVP soon rather than later, and as always, don't forget to invite a friend who might also enjoy belonging to RPEG!

Thanks Stephen, Carl and Al for your efforts! I learn something from each of you for sure and get some motivation to do something different with my photo editing.

Just curious, how long do the meetings typically last?

Hi Marissa, Steve starts at 7:00 sharp and tries to keep the presenters on track for a 9:00 finish. Half the audience will hang around for another 10-20 minutes chatting. If you have to leave in the middle it is no big deal - grin.

I am unable to drive for a week due to a medical procedure I had done today.
