Good rainy afternoon all,

First, an apology for the senior moment this morning when I forwarded that long email to newcomer Keith and inadvertently included you all... again!

Now, We've got a meeting coming up on the 18th, and no place to hold it. I'm certainly not picky, but the Pittsford/Brighton area seems convenient for most. Computers for each person isn't necessary, but we'll need a projector for sure, and internet access would be nice.

As for the agenda, I've got some topics in mind, but this isn't my group: It's yours. If you plan to attend, please RSVP if you haven't already, and let me know in the IDEAS tab at the top nav(igation) what you'd like to see us cover then. I'm expecting to spend about half the time on some administrative stuff (first meeting, you know), and about half on instruction. If that's how it goes by the way, I'll be happy to hear from volunteers to do a segment on a procedure you think we'd enjoy seeing and hearing. Let me know on that via email - either through the site (contact us in the left margin), or directly to my [address removed] (You probably wonder how old I am).

Tip of the day - By scanning a small picture on a scanner at very high (eg 600dpi or higher) resolution, your output will be a very large picture for editing purposes. The sharpness will be no greater than the original of course, but at least you'll have pixels to work with.
