Lightroom 4.0 - Editing and Output

Details
This is the second in a series of workshops on Lightroom 4.0. You do not need to take each class in the series. Lightroom is an excellent program for managing and editing your images.
Adobe cut the price of Lightroom in half (now $149) with the release of version 4.0. The available support for Lightroom on-line, in bookstores and in-person makes it an excellent choice for non-destructive editing. By non-destructive, I mean that all the changes you make to images in Lightroom are reversible and do not impact image quality. Unlike most programs, you are not opening and closing your JPEG files as you work on them. You are editing representations of those files and never touching the originals.
This workshop will go into depth on how to:
Work in the DEVELOP module Adjust White Balance Make overall image adjustments (also referred to as Global Adjustments) Make adjustments to only a portion of the image (also known as Localized Adjustments) Make virtual copies of an image so you can develop it multiple different ways Use and create presets to reduce the time you spend editing. Use of 3rd Party plug-ins for additional creative possibilities. Crop in preparation for making prints Print images either at home or at an outside source such as Costco Use supplied print templates as well as learn to create and save your own. Create slideshows to easily share your images with others. The March 29th Lightroom 4.0 class will cover the basics of getting started with Lightroom.
Post-Processing (everything that happens after you click the shutter) is a huge part of the creative process Editing your images in Lightroom will give your creative juices a big shot in the arm. Join Bob for this class to add to your skill set! Beginners to intermediate students will benefit from this class.
