Single Parents of Rochester

Being a single parent is tough!  Many of your friends are still married, so what do you do?  JOIN TOGETHER!

Come out to one of our coffee/open house events and meet us!  Let us know how we can support you.

Being single parents, and thus having only one income, it can be tough to do everything you may want to do with your kids. By joining together, the Single Parents Club can do more, and enjoy those precious years when your kids are still kids! Plus, you're kids will meet other kids of divorced parents and have friends.

Every child should go camping. It's part of growing up. It can be tough as a single parent to go camping. It's a lot of work. We go camping 3 times a year. When so many families go camping together, it's much easier. If you forgot something, someone else has it! We help each other. The kids play. There are numerous campfires each night: one for kids (and s'mores), one for teens, and one for adults.

PWP has an open house/orientation session each month. Check the calendar for details, or call 251-3647 for our information line.

This site is for single parents who have joined Parents Without Partners of Rochester. If you wish to see the details on some of our events, you must first join PWP. Only members of PWP will have access to the time and location details of events.

Parents Without Partners is an international non-profit educational and support organization for single parent families. Our dues are $40/year. Member's kids get subsidies, we have insurance for events, and we screen our members as best as possible to make sure they are really single parents (for our members' protection).

This Single Parents of Rochester meetup site is used by Parents Without Partners, Inc. of Rochester. By joining this meetup group, you acknowledge that the PWP chapter and its officers are not liable for any claims or damages involving posted activities.
