Tanner Dome Climbing Trip

Down in the Wet Mountains south of Canon City are some great climbing areas with both trad and well thought out/protected sports climbs. This would be a great time to hit Tanner Dome: probably more than 50 routes from 5.6 to 5.12. The dome is closed from April 1 to August 1 for the Perigrin nesting so there's a very good chance we'd get to watch the aeronautics of parents and chicks screaming over the dome. Great climbs, great area.
