The presentation will be on the Java 8 Roadmap, a discussion of features added in previous versions (Java 7), and a discussion of the future of Java.
The presenter will be Tom Plunkett from Oracle. Tom has worked with Java since the 1990's. Tom has taught Java for Virginia Tech since 1998, and has given lectures on topics related to Java worldwide. Since 2009, Tom has focused on Cloud Computing and Hadoop. Tom has over ten certifications related to Java.
The Meeting will be 6 to 8pm at APEX Business Centers, 600 Boulevard South SW, Suite 104, Huntsville, AL.
We will have pizza and sodas.
