Due to the forecasted inclement weather for Saturday, we are unfortunately canceling this event for this year. Only riders who have active RMCC memberships will have access to the RMCC-provided water support on the course. And only RMCC members will have their times recorded. The Foothills Climbfest is the oldest event of the RMCC Challenge Series. The course ventures into the foothills to the west of Chatfield Reservoir, featuring many of the toughest climbs in the Southwest Metro-area foothills—Deer Creek Canyon, Shadow Mountain/Brook Forest, Parmalee Gulch Road, High Drive, and Brook Forest/Shadow Mountain (in reverse). Course records: Men: Mark Lowe, 4:23 (18.23 mph) in 2011; Women: Mindy Gehrs 5:06 (15.90 mph) in 2014.

Sign-in: 7:00 am - 7:45 am. Ride starts promptly at 8:00 am

Distance/climbing: 81 miles/8000+ feet

Time limit: 7 hours

Additional notes: RMCC membership is required to participate in this intra-club event. Pre-registration is encouraged. Riders can pre-register just by indicating they are going to attend this Meet Up! RMCC will provide event support.
