Enjoy March Free Exchange

Details

Hi all,

We now have a speaker for the Free Exchange on Saturday, March 7th.

Longtime libertarian activist Starchild will present on:

Libertarianism and the Singularity

If futurists like Ray Kurzweil are right, the pace of technological change is accelerating, and the next few decades will see revolutionary developments unprecedented in human history. Indeed the very nature of what it means to be human will be profoundly challenged. What will these changes mean for libertarian theory and the future of freedom? Come hear and discuss some of the mindblowing predictions about what may take place within your lifetime!

In other notes:

I would like to encourage all of you to check out the www.isil.org website, and sign up for our free weekly news feed on developments and profiles in the global liberty network.

Also check out the ISIL - International Society for Individual Liberty FaceBook page.

Of course, donations to International Society for Individual Liberty are welcomed (tax-deductible in the USA) at www www.isil.org/support/. Our work has been made possible almost entirely by individual donors.

Donations to Golden Gate Liberty R3volution to help supply literature tables at various Bay Area events may also be made through ISIL at www.isil.org/golden-gate-liberty/.

7pm - Midnight
Speaker: 8-9 approx

Hello Friends,

You are all welcome to my open house Free Exchange party. normally held the first Saturday of each month. Even when there is a speaker, this is meant to be a low-key social getogether. Other friends are welcome.

I will provide some beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. Pot luck and BYOB welcomed.

No charge, but donations of $5+ welcomed.

The location is at the main entrance to the Park Merced apartment complex in southwest San Francisco, off of 19th Ave. next to San Francisco State University.

By transit: From downtown stations (or from Balboa Park), take the MUNI M-line trolley to the SF State University stop. You’ll see the Park Merced entrance. My apartment is on the shallow left of the entrance circle between Gonzalez and Crespi. Walk past the front of the building and go to the inner corner - You will see #6 under the lamp.

The 28 bus runs on 19th Ave and stops at SF State, if you are coming from the north or west parts of the city. The 29 Sunset bus also runs here, in fact it stops inside the entrance.

By car from north - Go 19th Ave past SF State and Holloway Drive, turn into Park Merced, go around the entrance circle onto Gonzalez Dr., park at first opportunity.

From East Bay or south - make your way to 280, get off at SF State exit. Go up Junipero Serra to Holloway light, turn left, then left at 19th Ave. light. Park Merced is there.

Transit is recommended, but weekend parking is relatively easy here.

Please RSVP.

Hope to see you!
