Monthly RAOS Meeting

Ruby, Rails and Open Source Discussion.

January's presenter is: Matt Secoske

Title: A tour or Rails via a generic REST service.

We will cover various aspects of building a REST API based on Rails 4 and a bit of Ruby's meta-programming magic. This should be useful for novice to intermediate level Rails developers.

Pizza will be served at the meeting so bring your appetites this time.

We look forward to seeing everyone again.

Thank you for hosting a great session on Ruby. Matt did an outstanding job on his presentation. It's wonderful to meet and talk Ruby with other individuals. Look forward to next month's meeting.

This was awesome. It's a testament to Ruby's growth (and some motivated organizers) that a 2 month old group in the midwest is already packing our meetup location. Great group, and I'm already looking forward to speaking next month!

Matt did a great job presenting. I think it was an excellent mix of advanced concepts with time spent discussing the basics. His code samples were very well written even though they were slight too advanced for me to injest all at one. It was a very unique and appropriate discussion on meta programming and rails.

I truly enjoyed the first meeting. Unfortunatelly one of my kids joined the CSA JV soccer league and they play on Wed.
