Anyone (that includes you) can do a lightning talk. You don't even need slides. You just have to come and present that shiny new thing you're working on. Or explain what your company is doing and why our members should work for you. Or maybe just show an awesome YouTube clip you found recently. No rules. Well…one rule. 5 min time limit.
