With vacations, holidays and the summer heat the group is going to take a bit of a hiatus until late summer. The beginning of September we'll get back into it full swing with training for the Fast & Furriest on Columbus Day and the Del Ray Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving.
The old saying goes, if your dog is over-weight, you are not getting enough exercise. We are excited to meet with other local active, and not so active, dog owners who are interested in running (or walking) with their dog for general fitness or to lose a couple extra pounds (both you and your dog). Runners and walkers are welcome.
Typically for the meetup we'll split into 2-3 groups, walkers, beginner runners and sometimes a faster runners group. We have different experts join us from time to time such as dog trainers, vets, or a running coach.
