Rust 0.9 and DST

On January 28, we have 4 great presenters lined up:

Presenters:

• Brian Anderson: Will present about Rust 0.9 and the roadmap to 1.0.

• Niko Matsakis: Will present his current plans for the long awaited Dynamically Sized Types, or DST.

• Corey Richardson: Will be talking about his Rust-themed cake, as well as his toy OS and his experience with evangelizing Rust.

• Kevin Ballard: Will present his safe Lua bindings.

This event will be catered and filmed by Air Mozilla if you cannot attend.

Location

This event will be held at the Mozilla San Francisco headquarters, at 2 Harrison St, San Francisco, CA 94105. Look for the building with the big "Hills Coffee" sign on the roof.

Thumbs up for the Rust PR machine. This was my first Rust meetup and I must say that the friendliness of the community felt great. Definitely one of the most welcoming meetups I have been so far.

There are bike racks underground in the garage (enter on Spear St., I think).

Last time the guard in the lobby at the interior of the plaza told me that it was ok to use the elevator. They were there all night, so it wasn't a problem to get through the lobby doors to the elevator after the meetup.
