Data Science and Rust

Greetings, Rustaceans!

I'm pleased to announce the next Bay Area Rust Meetup on April 9th, 2015, with doors opening at 6pm, and talks at 7pm. Note this is slightly earlier than usual to accommodate our east coast speakers. This meetup will be focused on using Rust for Data Science, and how we can better support scientists doing their research. We've got an exciting lineup:

• Josh Wills, Director of Data Science at Cloudera: Data Science

• Rob Bird, Principal Architect of Distributed Data Engineering at Akamai: the Blarpy algorithm (anomaly detection in genomic sequences)

• Rick Richardson: Blarpy in Rust

As always, Mozilla will be graciously providing food, drink, and a live stream of the meetup.
