Rust Hack and Learn Hamburg @ 4=1

Please join us for the second Rust Hack & Learn Meetup in 2016, this time hosted by 4=1. As usual we will solve little problems using Rust in a collaborative, inspiring environment. Team up with a fellow and solve a problem together, or work alone if you prefer not to have a second pair of eyes on your code.

Everyone is welcome, from seasoned programmer to those still seeking an opportunity to write their first line of Rust. In the latter case, don't worry, we will help you getting set up and going.

Already have a project? Please feel free to join - just hack on it or find others interested in contributing.

Requirements

Please bring a laptop, ideally with your favourite editor and a recent Rust stable already installed.

If you can't bring one, you can certainly pair up with someone who brought theirs.

Your night at 4=1

We'll have snacks and drinks available.

• 6:30pm - introduction; set yourself up to compile a 'hello-world' application. Choose a Kata to work on.

• 6:45pm - A short presentation on a Rust subject relevant to beginners (let us know if you have any specific wishes)

• 7:05pm - pair up and solve a Kata or two. Collaborative vibe, enjoy learning, ask questions, or enjoy coaching.

• 9:00pm - Present your solution to the group if you like, share your 'lessons' learned and 'eureka' moments.

• 9:30pm - Have a good night - hope to see you around next time!
