Summer Jazz & Lunch

This summer, music reigns supreme at the McNay in celebration of the exhibition Beauty Reigns: A Baroque Sensibility in Recent Painting. For its fifth year, the Summer Jazz & Lunch Series continues its tradition of presenting San Antonio’s finest jazz bands. Spend Sunday afternoon away from the summer heat while enjoying superb performances and gourmet box lunches and drinks crafted by Fresh Horizons Catering and the Jingu House.

A special 60th anniversary concert featuring nationally acclaimed jazz vocalist Suzi Stern. Her emotional and clear voice lifts poignant lyrics above uncategorizable compositions to create a magical experience, sure to move every listener. Stern is accompanied by George Oldziey on piano, Paul Unger on acoustic bass, Steve Schwelling on drums, and Seth Carper on woodwinds

      The box lunch pre-order online has closed as of Saturday evening. You may be able to buy box lunches at the door, but I can't guarantee they will be for sale. Please plan accordingly.
