About us
Like D&D? RPGs of any kind? Video games? Card Games? Magic the Gathering? Munchkin? Fluxx? Board games? We are San Antonio Gamers, a group of laid back, inclusive gamers. We accept ALL gamers.
This meetup is provided free of charge as a community service to gamers like you in Alamo City. Anyone who is willing to abide by our code of conduct is welcome to volunteer as an Event Organizer.
Some games are private games and will be at other members' houses. Some will be held at businesses throughout the city. Unless stated otherwise, games are free to play.
We post any and all gamer events we know about throughout the city, and if you have an event you want to post, just let us know.
Want to see a game that isn't scheduled? Let us know. Also feel free to let us know about any private games you might need an extra player for. All players subject to GM/organizer approval.
Rules:
1. Respect each other. This means no racist, sexist, homophobic or just plain inappropriate behavior.
2. If you are going to have your game in a shop, respect the rules of that shop. ie no swearing, outside food, or whatever the rules are.
3. If your game will have mature themes, post this in the description. We have juvenile gamers as well, and I don't want any surprises.
4. Have Fun. If you aren't having fun, you aren't playing the game right.

Beginner-Friendly Blood on the Clocktower at Tobin Library - Sunday 04/19
Tobin Library at Oakwell, 4134 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX, USWe will be running a session of Storyteller Roundtable before games this weekend! This is an informative session to see how storytellers set up and use the Grimoire to run Blood on the Clocktower. It is a learning event to help players get a better insight to how the game is run from a storyteller's perspective. Attending a Storyteller Roundtable session does not guarantee you will become a storyteller for our events.
Storyteller Roundtable will be from 11am-noon in the conference room (same location our games are held.)Want to learn how to play the acclaimed social deduction game as featured on No Rolls Barred and Shut Up & Sit Down? Look no further! We will be teaching and running beginner-friendly games of Blood on the Clocktower. Our events emphasize fun and friend building. We are family-friendly, newbie-welcoming, and a LGBTQA+ safe space. Players of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds are encouraged to join. Come out to make new friends, and then backstab them!
