New Meetup: Wednesday Night Ride and Imbibe

Announcing a new Meetup for The San Antonio Hiking & Outdoors Meetup Group!

What: Wednesday Night Ride and Imbibe

When: August 13,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: We will depart from Hills and Dales rear parking lot, head for the Northern boundaries of OP Schnabel park, ride about 7 miles through OP and then head back to Hills and Dales. The total mileage should be about 10.5 and it should take approximately 1h30m or less. Once back at the start we will hang out at Hills and Dales for a bit to cool down and visit over frosty adult beverages.
If anyone has not ridden OP Schnabel on a mountain bike, it can be slightly demanding. Much of it can be ridden without any worries of falling down, but there are a couple of spots where discretion would be the better part of valor for novices. As always, once we gather at the meeting location, I can adjust things to meet the needs of the group. If you want to come but are unsure of your abilities/equipment, give me a call/email and I will be more than happy to help out.
I would suggest bringing at least 1 water bottle and/or a camel back as there is no water available on the course. You will also need an extra bike tube and a way to inflate it. Most of us will have pumps, but just in case.
As always, let me know if there are any questions/concerns. Hope to see many of you there.

I will not be able to attend this week as I am beginning cross-training on the road bike. Just as last week, another of you healthy adventurers will have to lead the group in my stead. :-)

Thanks,
Chris Adolph
