Announcing a new Meetup for The San Antonio Hiking & Outdoors Meetup Group!

What: Work day for a good cause

Meetup Description: Many of you know my friend Lacey Halstead. She is the director of the Headquarters Coalition of the San Antonio river. Join me for a work morning to rid the headwaters of ligustrum and other non native invasive plants. They provide the tools and equipment, along with snacks and bottled water. Bring gloves if you have them. The workday is from 9:00 AM till 12:30 PM. Come for all or part of the day. We will meet at the Sanctuary entrance by the double soccer fields.
