R-U-N is our name, our creed and our motto! We are more than the sum of our members, we are family!

R-U-N is hands-down the friendliest Meetup group in Texas. We offer the most comprehensive running and outdoor sports schedule anywhere, plus a social calendar that can't be beat. Whatever your goals, whatever you running ability, you will find a home with R-U-N. Our calendar includes:

Road and Trail runs: Easy and Hard runs, Hill and Flat runs, Local and Out-Of-Town races

Weekly Fitness and Fun Runs: Dedicated to the beginner and intermediate runners

Marathon and Half-Marathon Training: For Newbie Distance-Runners to Marathon Manics

Non-Running events: Camping, Road Trips, Family-Friendly and Social Events

The group dynamic gets us off our butts and out the park. Once there we socialize, make new friends, support each other, and run. Better yet ... R-U-N (aRe yoU iN?)

R-U-N "West" Early Morning Run!!! (Valero in Alamo Ranch)

Valero Corner Store (Alamo Ranch)

Everyone is welcome - runners or walkers no matter your level or pace! Get your morning started off on the right foot...literally!! This EARLY MORNING run is held in the Alamo Ranch subdivision near 1604/Culebra Rd and 1604/Wiseman Blvd. at the Valero Circle K right next to the big, new HEB in Alamo Ranch. It's right across from CVS Pharmacy. Please park on the side or rear. We'll meet at the round picnic tables. After meeting up at Valero Corner Store the group will do a short to mid-distance run around the general area of Alamo Ranch Parkway. Routes are adjustable so distances vary by preference. There is hardly any traffic and the courses consists of very wide sidewalks. Flashlight or headlamp is preferred but not required. Sidewalks are very safe. Though no distance is prearranged, we usually run 5 miles. Please bring water and fuel as necessary, especially during the hotter months as San Antonio came be quite humid in the mornings, but it's well worth avoiding the blazing heat of the Texas daytime sun! Riverwalk Run @ the Pearl

La Gloria

Starting at the bottom of the stairs by La Gloria. 4 mile run. Food and drinks afterwards to the Pearl square (the food court). A good place to park is at Tacoland on Elmira St between Josephine and Grayson. If you can't find parking along Elmira or Grayson, you can park at the Pearl parking garage for free.
