Wiseburn Food Truck Fest

I discovered something really cool last night in my neighborhood -- food trucks! I found out that every last Friday of the month, food trucks gather in the parking lot of the Dana Middle School in Wiseburn (part of Hawthorne).

There were about a dozen trucks there including Nom Nom, Bool, Sugar Babies (mini cupcakes including one with candied bacon on top!!), Crepe Bonaparte (the nutella and strawberry crepe was yummy!), Me So Hungry, Lee's Philly, Rosa Bella Itallian, Vchos Cuban food, Valentino's pizza, and a few more I can't remember.

There is plenty of parking either in the parking lot of the school or on the street and there is access to the school with tables to eat at and restrooms. I'll be walking down there at 6:30 and I'll hang out at the east end of where the trucks are, by the fence of the baseball fields. I figured we can walk up the strip of trucks to check out what is there and then once we get our food we can reconvene to eat together.

If you can't get there by 6:30 to meet up with me, that's fine! You should be able to find us as it is not a very big area.
