We will be looking at various ways to use SuperCollider with other types of software, microcontrollers etc.
If you have any cool examples and projects, please bring it and show and tell.
And, as always: coffee is on the house!
For anyone working with digital music and other digital art expressions, SuperCollider may serve as a great tool for exploring sound, controlling lights and motors, interfacing with microcontrollers. Its rich set of features and powerful syntax makes it a expressive programming tool with many usages and nuances, such as real-time music performance, off-line rendering of music compositions, live-coding of music, interactive music etc. Anyone interested can join, regardless of level of experience. The meetings will happen mainly at NOTAM (www.notam02.no) in the afternoons of the first Wednesday of every month, and there will be "mandatory" socializing afterwards.
