On April 20th meeting at the Hardees parking lot off exit 115 at 1:00 . A ride to support Jims family to Aiken state park all park fees will be paid by the family. Jim was killed Dec 9th on his motorcycle by a distracted driver. Jim was the best friend a person could have , he was a retired Air Force pilot who served in Nam flying C123 later he flew B52 bombers. I do hope that the chapter can ride with a group of his friends I know the family would love to see this unity amound bikers .Jim made rides with 048 as well as 223 rode the big yellow wing for those who don't recall the name.

Back in December, a good friend of Bill Reber’s was killed in a motorcycle accident. Jim Hooper was a great rider and has been on a couple of rides with our chapter on his yellow Gold Wing. Jim was also a retired Air Force pilot. This Saturday, Bill has asked that we accompany him to a memorial for Jim at Aiken State Park in Windsor, SC. However, if you cannot take part in the memorial ride, feel free to ride to lunch and return to Sumter afterwards. We will meet at 10:15, leave at 10:30 and ride to Smashburger on 378 (4601 Devine St.) for lunch. After we eat, we’ll take the 15 minute ride over to the meeting point for the memorial ride (Hardees at I-26 exit 115). From there, we will join with other riders and take part in the ride that departs the Hardee’s at 1:00 p.m. This portion of the ride is about 37 miles. After the memorial at the State Park we will ride back to Sumter. Zeke

Got a message from Zeke from Sumter chapter tonight.
I assume Bill meant I26 exit 115 I put together a map for everyone. It will take 15 minutes to get to exit 115 so that means you will have to be at Smashburger at 11:30 Meat there if you want to ride with the Sumter chapter, just to have lunch or to go on the ride with Bill.

    Message to follow.
