Taco Tuesday Comedy Showcase

Details
This might be the best one yet!
Taco Tuesdays Comedy Showcase on the 2nd Tuesdays of every month. The showcase will feature up and coming comics from all over southern California hosted by Dan Bublitz Jr. During the show enjoy $2 Tacos!
This show will feature: Erik Knowles, Trenton Davis, Josh Nelson, Dave Wright and Manuel Manuel Baeza
Trenton Davis: Comedian, actor Trenton Davis is beginning to make his mark on the Comedy scene as one of the funniest comedians alive and truly enjoys talking about himself in 3rd person.
Trenton was raised in a dual parent household in a rural county of Greensboro, NC. He attended a high school that was 95% white and then followed that up with attending a historically black college – in neither space did he feel truly comfortable (probably because he often spoke about himself in 3rd person – out loud). Trenton’s comedy (primarily clean) looks at everyday problems and issues (i.e. self esteem issues, dating, war in Afghanistan, politics) and offers hilarious non-everyday solutions. Erik Knowles: Erik Knowles did his first stand-up set in the fourth grade at a summer camp talent show. Even at just nine years old, his two minutes of Nickelodeon jokes killed. His next performance was in 1999 while he was in the Marine Corps. One of his superiors, noticing Erik’s ability to make his peers laugh, ordered him to do a stand-up routine at the upcoming squadron Christmas Party talent contest. Erik won the contest by making fun of the Commanding Officer. After he got out of the Marine Corps in 2003, he did his first open mic at the Comedy Store in La Jolla. After that, there was no stopping him. Over the next few years he went on to perform with such headliners as Sarah Silverman, Pauly Shore, Bobby Lee, Zach Galifianakis, John Lovitz, Bobby Slayton, Gene Pompa, Joey "Coco" Diaz, Carlos Alazraqui, and many, many more. He was a finalist at the California Comedy Festival, The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas (2010), and has performed in comedy clubs and casinos, and military bases all over California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. Erik’s show leaves everyone satisfied. He looks back nostalgically, at his younger days in the Marines, boot camp, partying, and even a few war stories from his time in overseas in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then contrasts that with a witty look at his adult life full of responsibilities, becoming a father, and his uncontrollable desire to challenge social stigmas. His comedy is refreshing and edgy without being filthy. Erik Knowles fits nicely into any lineup and is a perfect fit for any comedy club in the country.
Josh Nelson: Josh Nelson is a San Diego based comedian and comedy show producer from Escondido. Josh does shows all over the country bust mostly in his home city of San Diego. He started comedy on a dare from his friend on his birthday and hasn't looked back since. His comedy comes from his life experiences and the stupid stuff he does. Josh gets a lot of his material from his family. He was an only child until 10 and now has 9 brothers and sisters, so you can imagine the material from there. You can see Josh Nelson perform mostly on the weekends at any one of the major comedy clubs in San Diego. Josh was a finalist in San Diego's funniest comic contest 2 times.
Dave Wright: Dave Wright has been performing and entertaining audiences as a Stand Up Comedian in California for over 10 years. Originally from Delaware he relocated to San Diego in 2000. Shortly after he arrived, Dave began performing Stand Up Comedy at the world famous La Jolla Comedy Store. After a few short years in San Diego Dave moved to northern California where he lived and performed in multiple towns and cities. Now living in San Diego for the past seven years Dave has become a regular at the La Jolla Comedy Store, The Mad House Comedy Club as well as a fixture at Ocean Beach Comedy at Winston’s in Ocean Beach. Most recently Dave was a finalist in last years San Diego’s funniest comedy competition and was featured in an two page article in the Union Tribune.
