La Primavera Orchards is a small pesticide free farm owned and run by one of our own Local Farm Fan Members Nino Cupaiuolo! Come and join us on November 19th, 2011 at 11:00am for Persimmon Picking right off the trees.

We did have persimmon picking visit last year and it was fantastic. I love these persimmons. Many of us made a persimmon chutney from the persimmons we picked. I gave mine out as gifts, they were a hit!

Admission:The admission is free and open to all individuals and all age ranges. The farm visit will consist of: Nino telling us about the history of his farm, a tour of the farm, and then persimmons picking.

How long: Expect the visit to last ~ 3 hours depending on the size of the group.

RSVP: Please RSVP for the meetup if you are interested. We will be limiting the group size to 15-20 adults on this visit.

Important Info: Please bring our own bag (or bags is more realistic!) to place and carry your own persimmons. In addition please bring a pair of clippers to cut your persimmons off the tree. If you have extra clippers please bring them along to share.

Cash! Please bring cash in order to pay for your fruit.

Look forward to seeing you at the farm!
