Jon Shields has more than 40 years of experience engaged in concert photography. Jon will go into detail and explain techniques and considerations for concert photography. These include: Limits on shooting positions and access; knowing the band and the music you will be photographing; low light considerations, [ISO, white balance, shutter speed, subject movement]; hand held low light techniques; lens selection and dealing with digital noise.
Some of the greatest photographers of all time such as Ansel Adams and Richard Avedon did much of there work in Black and White because of the power and impact that it conveys.
Jon will explain tools and techniques for converting color photos to powerful Black and White photos.
