SE Asian cooking - from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, but also Burma, the Philippines, and Cambodia, is increasing rapidly in popularity in Britain, but is still not as well-known as its counterparts from China, the Indian sub-continent and Japan. This group is meant for people who love the distinctive styles of cooking and robust tastes of the foods from this region and wish to learn more (or teach others) about preparation, ingredients and of course trying it! You don't have to an expert cook to be in the group, sheer enthusiasm and a willingness to try new dishes is all we ask for - and you do not have to be from SE Asia either, many Westerners and non-Asians are becoming great fans and practitioners of the various cuisines of the region. Let us get together to exchange recipes, tips, cooking sessions and outings! We can sample the different regional offerings on a rotation basis once a month.
Emails to the organisers: if you wish to write emails to us, please do NOT tick the Hide your Email Address box. It is much easier for us to reply to you if we have an email address to do so (rather than having to search through several hundred names for your membership entry). Messages sent without a valid reply address will not be answered.
