I enjoyed the session and found helpful ways of ensuring information about events in my community will find an audience through the Heritage community. I am looking forward to learning more about the relationship between Heritage Media and bloggers work. Thank you for providing this informational session. It certainly opened my eyes to the various digital media tools out there. Now the trick is learning how to use them.

Monica, thanks for sharing specifics on how citizens can help cover local news & events for Heritage News outlets. You made a real effort to bridge the tech-communication gap for middle-agers, and other attendees complemented your expertise with additional ideas.

This was a good overview of how to contribute to local newspapers via several means. Monica and Michelle were great at answering all questions as the conversation moved from print media to social media. I appreciate them sharing the presentation through Scribd.

Citizen Journalism - sounds fun! While I have a degree in PR, it will be nice to learn from someone who works as an editor. I always find that editors see the other side of pitches. And they need to keep pace with the changing role of journalism. It has been hard for many papers with the internet and free content 24/7.

Looking forward to an interesting talk.
