What can I say?
I do apologize to those that we had to turn away.
We really did not want to do that.
We tried to let as many people as possible in to the rooms - most of our volunteers gave up their seats in order to allow more people to enter. There were also some members that could not enter because each room was at the legal fire safety limit.
LinkedIn has been a good host for a long time, and we thank them. LinkedIn provided extra chairs, as well as two rooms and a video link in between. LinkedIn also provides the security service, as well as the rooms them selves, of course.
We apologize, and will work to see that this unusual problem never happens again.
