For our March event, I'd like to see talks about topics around DNS. I'm open to anything, but here are some suggestions to get you thinking: using DNSSEC; IPv6 and running your application "double stack"; dynamic DNS, and/or dealing with dynamic cloud environments where nodes come and go; geo-load balancing using DNS, and how to choose the best service beyond just proximity; experiences with commercial hosted DNS providers; running private DNS servers for middle tiers in cloud environments; DNS as part of a failover strategy.
I'm looking for two to four 20-25 minute talks. If you can give a talk, please contact me, Chris Westin, through meetup.
As well as the evening's theme talks, we can fit in 2-3 five minute lightning talks at the beginning of the evening; any topic that would be interesting to the #lspe audience is welcome. If you're interested in giving a lightning talk, contact me, Chris Westin, through meetup.
