Join us for a discussion w/ Aaron Harris from Y Combinator and Sheel Mohnot from 500 Startups on what role accelerators can play for early stage Fintech startups.
Aaron is a Partner at Y Combinator (YC), a seed and early stage startup accelerator based in Mountain View. At YC, one of Aaron's focus areas is Fintech. Prior to YC, Aaron co-founded Tutorspree (an online platform that offers web based tuition services for students).
Sheel is a Partner at 500 Startups (a seed fund and startup accelerator with ~$250M in assets under management). He runs a FinTech specific fund as well as the new FinTech accelerator at 500 Startups. Prior to joining 500, he co-founded and sold two FinTech companies (FeeFighters and Innovative Auctions).
Cristina Cordova, who is Head of Business Development at Stripe, will be moderating the discussion. Cristina was an early-stage employee at Stripe and prior to that, she was the first employee at Pulse (acquired by LinkedIn).
