An Introduction To Scala

Let's do an introduction to Scala! In the decades of SF Scala meetups we have never held a big classroom training session so folks can catch up (or start) on their Scala skills.

So that's what we'll do. Come prepared with your own laptop with Intellij IDEA, its Scala plugin, and SBT pre-installed. We'll start from scratch, go over the foundations of the Scala language, build up to functions, collections and case classes, and then finish up with a working project.
