Hello everyone,

It's meet-up time again! Please join me on Sunday, November 18th at the Crossroads Cafe. Please note, if it's a nice day and not too cold, we might be in the outside patio area of the cafe, so check outside if you can't find us inside.

Since we didn't have a meet-up in September and October we'll go around the table to catch up with our projects (if you want to share). If this is your first meet-up, it's a great way to introduce yourself to the group.

I'll also be doing a presentation on Wordpress for Indie Authors. As author's it's very important to have our own website as part of our book marketing and branding efforts. I've noticed a lot of self published author's use free web hosting accounts like Weebly, Tumblr or Blogger for their websites... Now that is better than not having a website at all, but I'll share why I believe this is a mistake. I'll also share ten reasons why you should be using Wordpress, even if you're non-techy. I love Wordpress and it's very easy to use and manage your website.

The presentation will be around 20-30 minutes, than I'll answer any questions you might have on Wordpress (I'm not a programmer type, but I've been using Wordpress on all my web properties since 2005).
