Iñaqui Delgado, Android Video SDK Engineer, Twilio @inaquidelgado

"Bringing WebRTC to Mobile"

WebRTC is a ground-breaking standard and a powerful piece of open source code, but it wasn't originally designed for mobile applications. Iñaqui Delgado, lead developer for Twilio Video for Android, will explain the challenges the team faced bringing WebRTC to Android, how they solved them, and where they see mobile WebRTC going in the future.

Iñaqui Delgado is a software engineer on the Android SDK team at Twilio. He is a life long software enthusiast with experience on Android and various other types of embedded devices. Iñaqui previously worked at IBM and National Instruments. Iñaqui holds a BS from the University of Maryland and a MS from the University of Texas in Computer Engineering. Iñaqui will talk about "Bringing WebRTC to Mobile"

Tristan Mahé, VOIP Architect, Textme

"Deploying a WebRTC enabled proof of concept in 15mn"

Webrtc javascript examples and libs are easy to find, but what about the platform side ? Tristan, the VOIP architect behind Textme call platform, will demo how to setup and deploy a proof of concept infrastructure using open source software in a matter of minutes.

Tristan Mahé is the VOIP Architect at Textme. He is currently in charge of the strategy, design, development and operation of the voice infrastructure and Textme voip software within the highly scalable constraints of the largest sponsored communication platform. He has a strong background in the Telecom industry, and loves new technologies and protocols suites. Don't ask him to do UI though !

Justin Uberti, Principal Software Engineer, Google (TBC)

"WEBRTC Update"

Justin Uberti is the technical lead for the WebRTC effort at Google. Previously, Justin served as technical lead for many of Google communication products, including Google+ Hangouts and Google Video Chat. In a past life, Justin was chief architect for the AOL Instant Messenger software. Justin holds bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Virginia.

Sam Dutton, Developer Advocate, Google Chrome

"WEBRTC Update"

Sam Dutton is a Developer Advocate for Google Chrome, specialising in WebRTC, media APIs, and the mobile web. Sam has designed and coded numerous websites as well as native desktop and mobile applications. He previously worked for BBC R&D, ITN and Decca Records.

Tom Hughes, Principal Engineer, Airtime

"WebRTC at Airtime: Mobile Group Video with WebRTC"

WebRTC powers the group video chat for Airtime (https://airtime.com). Tom will give an overview of the Airtime architecture and some of the unique challenges involved when using WebRTC for groups and mobile devices.
Tom has been involved with WebRTC since 2012, when he joined vLine (https://vline.com), which provided a complete WebRTC platform as a service. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Cesar Guirao, Staff Engineer, TokBox

“Using WebRTC to create a cross-platform SDK”

Cesar Guirao, Staff Engineer at TokBox will explain the challenges of using WebRTC to create a mobile cross-platform SDK. In particular, he will focus on performance, consumption, connectivity, device heterogeneity, interoperability and update cycles.

Cesar Guirao is tech lead on the Native Platform team at TokBox and he was working on the first WebRTC based version of the OpenTok Android SDK. He has been involved in real time communications for more than 10 years, working on instant messaging and 3G video call services. He is an entrepreneur and self-taught passionate programmer and he has more than 15 published apps and games on different platforms. He loves graphics programming and as a good indie game developer, he has his own cross-platform game engine.
