More details about the talks:
Mandatory Considerations before using Open Source Code by Will McDonough
There is rarely a topic in business that can divide a crowd with as much passion and fury as a political debate. However, Open Source Code has that ability. Whether you’re a software developer, a business owner or an acquirer of businesses, you need to understand Open Source Code. It’s too advantageous to ignore and too dangerous to underestimate. This presentation will cover:
• i) A general history and overview of Open Source Code,
• ii) Its legal mechanics and potential legal pitfalls, and
• iii) Prudent courses of action for:
• a. Software Developers who are looking to avoid malpractice;
• b. Business Owners who are looking to avoid unforeseen litigation; and
• c. Business Acquirers who are looking to save money on the purchase price of acquisitions.
How to get FREE access to top Online Learning Tools by Jairo Bastilla
Jairo Bastilla will demonstrate powerful online learning tools that are geared towards learning coding and other useful things that you may need as an entrepreneur or member of a corporate team. These resources are typically paid services but are free with a Miami-Dade Public Library Card.

PRESENT to the group!
If you would like to present at the next meetup, please reach out to an organizer and/or leave a comment below.
We are looking for anyone interested in sharing one or two accomplishments that you achieved at work around a related WordPress topic or subject matter. It can be a big or small win with a plugin that you finally got working, a site you've designed and/or customized, or a cool project you completed for a client.
This is a great chance to promote your expertise and your company. We accept dual speakers so bring your co-worker in on the fun! :) - VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for a few volunteers to help run this meetup group and handle logistics to ensure a well organized, timely event. If you are willing to donate at most one hour of your time each month, please reach out to an organizer and/or leave a comment below. Your help will be very much appreciated and acknowledged.
Can't wait to see you guys!
