If I were new to blogging and social media I would have found the panelists' tips to be very enlightening. All new WordPress users and developers should come to these events.

Some of this was pretty basic stuff, but as long as there were folks that got something out of it (and there were), that's all that matters.

Line-Up of Speakers was very good. Start time was published as 6:30, but it started at 7:00. Some of it was above my head, but I got enough out of it to make it worth the time invested.

I'm asking over on Facebook, too, but does anyone here know how to use Pay Pal without creating a Pay Pal account? It used to work but I can't do that any more on multiple browsers. Is there some other way to pay for this meetup online without paying at the door?

Hi Jackie, I looked at the agenda and it reminded me... You think we will ever do a meetup dedicated to Buddypress, etc for us owners of community sites?

excellent! :) No, nothing new yet.with Nova. Was suffering through finals so lost touch, but this is a helpful reminder... I'll reach back out to them ASAP come early this week. Last thing I did was submit the proposal for their student organization meeting which should have taken place recently. So hopefully, news soon. I'll let you know...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
