SF Babel: San Francisco's International Language Exchange Meetup

We will be on the 3rd Floor of the building actually (just for this day!)

We try to provide a fun, friendly, relaxed group where you can practice speaking a new language and meet people from all over the world!

Our gathering takes place in a bar environment, so there is usually music playing and we hope to have a lot of people so it will be busy and bustling. This is obviously still a fairly new meet up, so invite lots of friends and just come hang out and practice another language!

All SF Babel Members get discounted draft beer! All you have to do is present your name tag (which you will receive at the event)

The idea of the group is that you give help to the group (helping those who are learning your native language) and you get help from the group (you are helped by others who speak the language you want to practice). This way everyone benefits!

We typically have native speakers of French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, German, Polish, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Mandarin, Russian, Armenian, Arabic and many other languages.

When you arrive, just introduce yourself to Marcus and Matt and they will introduce you to others who speak the language you want to practice to get you started. It's fun and FREE!

We get started at 7:00 pm and the group is usually there until at least 10pm, but you can arrive and leave at whatever time you like.

If you have any comments, questions, problems, concerns or ideas, just talk to Marcus or Matt about it. We will do our best to make sure you have a positive experience!

Remember, this group is a hobby for us; we run it just for fun, we love it and we hope you will love it too!

Schlaf gut:))

So we will be on the third floor! You have to enter on the Powell entrance! It's in the back! A cool little area.

That being said, we will probably move down to the 2nd floor at 8:00 pm! If we so, I'll message here and change the signs!

THIS EVENT IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BE LOCATED ON THE 3RD FLOOR. NOT THE SECOND FLOOR..There is an area in the back of the restaurant which we will be taking over. It should also be a lot quieter up there. We are just testing it out! I'll make sure to email everyone before hand and also send a message on meetup to everyone too.

Crap I was totally dead today after the exam plus several hours of hard work afterward. Yesterday I slept kindof only 2 hours. Crap I really don't have anymore energy to be running around town. Sorry guys perhaps we can meet next time? blah blah blah...

Hi, my name is Bird and I come from China. It will be my first time to take part in this kind of activity. Do I just need to show up without any reservation?
