C++Now 2014 Trip Report

In addition to all the regular fun stuff, we'll have a debrief on C++Now 2014.

This year's C++Now will be in Aspen, May 12-17th. It is five days of three tracks and two keynotes of cutting edge content.

Several members of our group are attending this year and we'll share our thoughts and experiences.

It will be just like you got to go. Except, you know, not quite!

      It's interesting that Bloomberg wants optimisation of a case which is presumably a side-effect of a performance improvement (a move) of significantly more than an extra cycle. If they're really that concerned, malloc/free is an option since free of a null pointer works. Though I'm sure the C library checks for null pointers anyway.

      I should really just read the paper Niebler referenced. I'm sure that's going to answer any questions I might have.

    Really great presentations from those that attended C++Now. Really enjoyed seeing all of the new faces. The workshop continues to stimulate debate and discussion.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
