Please indcate whether you are already an LF photographer or would like to get started in LF photography in near future. (If you have no intention of doing LF photography, you may be better served by joining other photography groups.)

Looking for like-minded people for anything from collaboration to just conversation.

What are your photography subject areas (e.g. landscape, portrait, etc.)?

Conceptual portraiture, mostly. I'm not good at defining genres and am interested in anything that elicits a strong emotional response. A lot of the time, this involves people. Sometimes, though not always, nude people.

Do you do B&W or color or both types of photography? What film do you use? If you use traditional darkroom, what developers do you use?

Mostly B&W, mostly faster films - I like texture and I like grain. I like Rodinal and D-DX, depending on subject matter, type of film used, and shot conditions. I do shoot some color and sometimes even develop it at home with a Jobo and chemistry from Freestyle.

Do you use digital techniques (scanning, Photoshop, digial printing, etc.) for producing the prints or you use traditional darkroom or both? What digital printers and papers do you use? What traditional darkroom chemisty and papers do you use?

Mostly digital at this point for lack of space. I scan negatives with an Epson 4990 (or a Plustek for smaller formats) and then print digitally. Looking to do more traditional printing (and get into alternative printing techniques) when I have the space to set up a home darkroom. Soon, I hope.

What type of LF camera(s) do you use (e.g. 4x5" Arca Swiss)? It's perfectly okay to join this group even if you don't have an LF camera yet.

Made an impulse purchase of a Speed Graphic and a couple of lenses (an old Symmar and a long Tele-Xenar). Trying hard to resist buying more stuff until I get more experience in LF.

Protographer (among other things). Mostly analog, mostly black-and-white, relatively new to large format.
