Nica Lorber from Chapter Three will be talking about some fun topics around client management and Drupal projects, something many of us have to deal with all the time.

I am going to also have someone from Pantheon give a quick presentation about some of the new cool stuff they are doing on the Pantheon Platform.

We will have beer on tap provided by Pantheon so please come on down and lets get this group rockin again for 2013.

Well, the second link (arguing that WP is better than Drupal) makes some excellent points. I've started getting into WP development lately and I'm very impressed with what I see. I think we're all mature enough not to be fanboys about a CMS. I still prefer Drupal, but that's only because I'm more comfortable with it. I'd love to see a Drupal presentation that compares it to WP.

The other blog post just complains that Drupal makes everything so easy that it's boring. If you're bored with your work, that's your fault, not Drupal's.

Ultimately I suspect Azn is just a troll. But I would love to see more educated discussion of Drupal vs. Wordpress.

All right, a meet-up troll. This must be some sort of Rule 34 variant. I, for one, dislike Wordpress because its mother is a hamster and its father smells of elderberries. Take care or I will taunt it again!

Jordan, I already contributed a great idea to this club. You could be useful and invite some wordpress people to the next Drupal meetup instead of being stupid. WP usually HAS over 100 people show for their activities. The organizer of this group could have a huge show down: WP vs. Drupal. Hell, they could even take it on the road. That's how you build awareness and have some fun. Mix this shit up a bit.

I am not sure what the purpose of your comment is. This is a user group for Drupal dev, if you dont like Drupal dont come we will not miss you.

Maybe if you were a Drupal developer you would have "got" it.

I might check it out. However, a great topic would be how boring and painful Drupal site building is: Oh, and this one:
