Come join us as we watch ENDER'S GAME (view the trailer (http://youtu.be/vP0cUBi4hwE)), written and directed by Gavin Hood (TSOTSI; RENDITION; X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE). The film stars Asa Butterfield ("Merlin"; HUGO), Harrison Ford (STAR WARS trilogy; INDIANA JONES quartet; BLADE RUNNER), Hailee Steinfeld (TRUE GRIT; ROMEO AND JULIET), Abigail Breslin (SIGNS; LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE; DEFINITELY, MAYBE; ZOMBIELAND), Ben Kingsley (GANDHI; HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG; PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME; IRON MAN 3), Viola Davis (SOLARIS; DOUBT; THE HELP; BEAUTIFUL CREATURES), Aramis Knight and Moises Arias.
From IMDB:
70 years after a horrific alien war, an unusually gifted child is sent to an advanced military school in space to prepare for a future invasion.
The film is based on the critically acclaimed novel (http://amzn.com/B005FVNIW6) by Orson Scott Card. The movie is rated PG-13. We will most likely not be seeing it in IMAX.

We'll be going to Ted's Montana Grill (http://www.tedsmontanagrill.com/menu/download/TMG-T3-TTT_Menu.pdf) for dinner following the movie. If you plan to attend, you must RSVP separately for November's Dinner (no reading required!) (https://www.meetup.com/SFFBookClub/events/142492382/).
We do ask that if you attend a movie screening with us, that you please refrain from talking loudly during the movie or disrupting the experience for other guests. We want everyone in the group to be able to hear and enjoy their movie experience, and we also would like to maintain a positive relationship with the theatre, so your cooperation is appreciated. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss the movie during dinner.
Please update your RSVP and guestcount if you will not be attending!
