Superhero Movie Night (DVD meetup - no reading required!)

Details
Please join us for a superhero-themed film night! We're very excited about the 2 films we've selected to view. Even if you've already seen one or both, we'd still love to have you join us to share the experience with others.
Please arrive on time, so that we can start watching the movies without interruptions or delays. Space is limited, so we will be using a waiting list. RSVPs will be locked in 3 days prior (Wednesday at 6:00 PM). If you RSVP yes, please make sure you and your guest (if applicable) attend!*
We've been lucky enough to find another venue to host movie nights. We are asking that each attendee pay a small cost to help us defray the rental cost of the room and the cost of dinner (pizza, dessert, and soft drinks). You must pay online in order to RSVP ($13.70) or pay in cash at a prior meetup if space remains available ($13 exact change, bills only by February 2) and we'll add you manually to the event.
We will provide dinner and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is permitted, but it will be BYO and as always, please drink responsibly and be careful about driving. Also, we are responsible for cleaning the room ourselves, so we ask for your help and cooperation in avoiding any messes, and quickly alerting us to any spills that occur. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions of which we should be aware. We may be able to accommodate them.
The venue has parking restrictions, and you cannot park in the main condo parking lot (not even the handicapped spaces). Not only will this probably get you towed, it will jeopardize our relationship with the venue and the likelihood of being able to hold future events.
There is however, plenty of street parking available (here's a map (http://goo.gl/maps/6AMgQ)): I'd suggest you first try on N Sycamore St and N Tuckahoe St (parallel and west of Roosevelt Blvd) or along 11th Rd N and 12th St N (perpendicular) or on N Rockingham St or N Rochester St (parallel and east). All are very close and easy walks to the venue. The building is access-controlled, so from 5:30-6:30 we'll have someone waiting at the door to let you in and send you upstairs. You must arrive by 6:30 at the absolute latest to participate.
Also, just to clarify on the accessibility of the venue, in addition to handicapped parking being unavailable for our use, reaching the party room will require climbing a single flight of stairs. These are factors beyond our control, but please factor them into your decision to attend.

Two young American ex-patriates with special abilities must race to find a girl in Hong Kong before a shadowy government organization called Division does.
From Paul McGuigan, the director of LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN (as well as several episodes of "Sherlock"), this heavily underrated 2009 film stars Chris Evans (CAPTAIN AMERICA, FANTASTIC FOUR), Dakota Fanning (THE RUNAWAYS, WAR OF THE WORLDS), Djimon Hounsou (CONSTANTINE, GLADIATOR, AMISTAD), and Camilla Belle (10,000 BC), and sets superpowered action and sinister intrigue against a vivid Asian backdrop.

Known to the world as superheroes Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, Bob Parr and his wife Helen were among the world's greatest crime fighters, saving lives and battling evil on a daily basis. Fifteen years later, they have been forced to adopt civilian identities and retreat to the suburbs to live "normal" lives with their three kids, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment. He soon discovers that it will take a super family effort to rescue the world from total destruction.
This acclaimed 2004 film not only poked fun at and revitalized the superhero genre, it also represented some major strides in animation techniques that significantly impacted the industry for years to come. It also garnered the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation (Long Form).
*Since missing one of these meetups is taking a spot away from someone else who wants to attend, we'll need to have a stricter attendance policy than normal. For DVD/TV nights, a no-show will prohibit you from attending any other space-limited DVD/TV night for 4 months after your no-show. In order to avoid a no-show, please update your RSVP no later than 72 hours before an event. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
