If you are a female runner, the SF Women's Running Meetup Group is for you! We offer 2 workouts a week - join one or both. Tuesday we do track workouts at Kezar Stadium and Saturday we do long runs - EVERY WEEK, ALL YEAR 'ROUND.
San Francisco has a lot of interest in running and the best places in the world to run. The group focus is on women runners at all levels. Right now, we have an ongoing Saturday pace/tempo run group and Tuesday track workouts.
We are a sister organization with THE WOW Team. Therefore, when you sign up for a run we ask you to go to our main site at http://meetup.com/gowowteam to RSVP. That site has all the workouts in the entire Bay Area - currently 5 a week and growing. The San Francisco schedule just shows you a calendar of what is occurring in SF.
The SF group actually funnels into the main site at http://meetup.com/gowowteam. When you go to that site you will see all SF workouts plus the rest of our workouts throughout The Bay Area. You are welcome to join all or any of them.
The San Francisco group of women is more running focused and trying to improve while the East Bay group has more diversity. Please contact me if you have questions about The WOW Team. We are very active and recruiting all women who have an interest in lifelong fitness through running, walking, and the outdoors.
Let's see what we can do, as a group of women, to make this work for us. I'm willing to do a lot of the footwork and, I love running. I also coach the Bay Area WOW Team for women all over the Greater Bay Area. I'd be happy to include a broader group of abilities including walkers, trail runners, etc. in San Francisco - just need to see the interest and commitment from you ladies!

Let's start a new location for our Great Hiway runs. Meet at the end of Judah, on the upper Great Hiway, beach side. You can travel here by public transportation (N-Judah) or, if you drive, park on the lower Great Hiway and walk across the street. There is no parking on the Upper Great Hiway but, at 8:00 AM there is plenty of parking on the Lower Great Hiway. Look at a map if you feel confused. Read more
