Hello generous beautiful people!
I'm going to this tomorrow night... If you live in the city or have access to the city mid week, this should be a hip group of fellow generous and hip people getting together for a good cause. If you plan to attend, please RSVP on this page so that I can email you my contact info. See you there!
Here's the invitation I received via FB:
Come join AADP and NAAAP for an evening of food, drinks, art, and network with your local Asian American community. Your donations will help AADP continue our mission in saving lives.
To purchase tickets visit: www.aadp.org/P1 (use AADP as promo code)
Tickets are $12 regular presale and $15 at the door.
All proceeds will benefit AADP.
AADP is faced with the challenge of finding and enrolling committed bone marrow donors into the Be the Match Registry. It is our goal to give the chance to register everyone who is able and willing– especially in the minority community.
It costs $100 in administrative and lab fees to enter one donor into the Be the Match Registry bone marrow/stem cell. This cost is now paid for by a combination of donations from the community and a grant from HRSA. However, these funds are not inexhaustible. We need more help from the community and individuals like you to continue to make donor registration accessible to everyone.
AADP has particularly chosen Project One Gallery and Lounge in SF as the venue for the evening: http://p1sf.com/
Project One Gallery features work from local and national artists with a particular focus on San Francisco artists.
P1 will present “Hapenis”, a solo exhibition of photographs by Franz Szony. Described as a “photographic painter” or “character portraitist”, Szony transcends traditional photography in order to open windows into a lush, seductive, and intricately detailed world of fantasy and dreams where his seductive imagery fuses the classical with the modern, and depicts baroque aesthetics with a bizarre twist.
We hope to see you there!
