New Campaign Videos and Photos Posted and New Promotional Perk. You can now see the latest videos for the Indiegogo campaign for THE SUICIDE PARTY – photo videos from our launch party on Sept. 11 and photo videos of our three days of shooting the short. We also sent out a press release which got distributed to over 6000 media contacts, and as a result added a new perk for those with a business they want to promote – a listing with your name, company name, and website in our next press release, which will contribute to your own SEO listings. It’s a great way to get national attention for what you do through search engine listings day of shooting. Photos for the 2nd and 3rd day of shooting will be up shortly. Plus we now have a SIZZLE REEL for the film to go up in the next day or two. It’s as little as $5 or $10 to become a subscriber or fan, and as a fan, you can get half-price tickets to our networking events and other parties, including the event on October 9 (we’ll reimburse you at the door, since our Early Bird tickets are no longer available and we haven’t set up a promotional code on the campaign site yet). Plus as one of our subscribers, supporters, promoters, or other contributors, you can stay up to date with the latest developments – including advance notices of opportunities for roles in the film, since there will be over 300 extra for a big party scene, aside from the lead and supporting roles. Details are at www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-suicide-party or for updates: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-suicide-party/x/33178?c=activity
Tickets for Film and Networking Event on 10/9. I wanted to let you know that we have about 30 tickets left for the event, with about 20 attendees so far, before I send out invitations more generally to the film and business communities on Sunday, SO GET YOUR TICKETS THROUGH EVENTBRITE IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY DONE SO at https://shortfilmsandbusinessnetworking.eventbrite.com, since RSVPs here only give us a general idea of who might be coming, but only prepaid Eventbrite tickets count, and we are limited to 50 attendees at this screening room. There is a great reception area next to the room, which we’ll be using for snacks and beverages from 6:30-7 before the program and afterwards from about 8:30-0 p.m.
Film and Business Group Update. Our new group is up to 46 members and we’ll be having our first event for the group in conjunction with other SF Bay Area groups on October 9. The n, in a few weeks, we’ll begin featuring programs on raising funds, marketing, distributing, and promoting films. You can join at www.meetup.com/filmandbusinessconnection.
