Bear Creek Traverse - Highway 39 to Smith Saddle, Bear Creek, West Fork

Shuttle trip. 11 miles one way. Meet at West Fork Parking at area 8:00 a.m. leave vehicles and carpool 6 miles up to Bear Creek trailhead. Option of doing Smith Mountain as well with and added climb of 800ft. Wear long pants to avoid poison oak. Rock hopping. Many stream crossings. Hope to see you there!
