Visit Mt Islip from Crystal Lake

We'll make a nice loop out of the Big Cienega and Windy Gap trails. We will begin hiking at pleasant Crystal Lake campground, then ascend the Windy Gap trail. From there a maintained trail leads up and over the summit. To descend, we will go down the opposite ridge.

Rain (or snow) cancels.

We will caravan the approximately 50 minute drive to Crystal Lake.
